Thursday – rooted in love

Ephesians 3:16 – 19    … may God strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fulless of God.

This is a wonderful portion of scripture that each and every one of us should memorize.   During this lent,  we have been attending the Ecumenical Lenten Worship and Lunch at St Matthew’s  Cathedral in Brandon.   One comment that we all seem to share is “isn’t it great to worship together”.  Indeed.  While all our denominations worship uniquely,  it is the love of God  that seeps within our souls and dwells in our hearts when we worship together.

How do you let Christ dwell in your heart so that you may be rooted in love?
