Tuesday, May 20, 2014 — Waters and Sky

One of my spiritual practices is photography, so I would like to share some images with you through the week, along with words of prayer and scripture. I invite you to engage in a kind of visio-divina spiritual practice…let the words and images rest in your mind and see what, if any, thought, feeling, movement arises.

“And God said, “Let there be a dome in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” So God made the dome and separated the waters that were under the dome from the waters that were above the dome. And it was so. God called the dome Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.” (Gen 1:6-8, NRSV)
