Sunday, May 25, 2014 — The Seventh Day

One of my spiritual practices is photography, so I would like to share some images with you through the week, along with words of prayer and scripture. I invite you to engage in a kind of visio-divina spiritual practice…let the words and images rest in your mind and see what, if any, thought, feeling, movement arises.

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their multitude. And on the seventh day God finished the work that was done, and rested on the seventh day from all the work that was done. So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that was done in creation.
These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created.” (Gen 2:1-4)
