On May 25, at an evening gathering sponsored by the Life and Mission Committee of the Pictou presbytery, we heard the Rev. Mwawi Chilongozi of Malawi speak on her work projects as director of the Women’s Guild of her synod.

Prior to visiting us, Mwawi was an international guest to the Presbyterian Church’s National Women’s Gathering, and then spoke on a whirlwind schedule to the other presbyteries in P.E.I., New Brunswick, and Halifax-Lunenburg. Then she was off as international visitor to the General Assembly in Waterloo, Ont.
