It is not often a small rural congregation can boast of five ministers at its anniversary service. St. Andrew’s, North River Bridge, Cape Breton, marked its’ 141st year on July 27th, 2014. Our guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Glen Davis celebrated communion, assisted by Student Minister Corrie Stewart who is serving our charge this summer. Also present were Rev. Ferne Reeve, a native of the community who recently retired from Trinity, York Mills, Toronto, Rev. Shirley Murdock who ministered with us for nine years, now serving Point Edward church in the town of Point Edward, Ont., and Rev. Joyce Davis.
