Tuesday, October 14, 2014 — Earth and Soul

I celebrated the official launch of “Reclaiming the Wild Soul” last Sunday. During the event, I shared why it took almost 10 years to complete the book by explaining that my early iterations met with, “Shouldn’t you be writing two books: one about the Earth and one about the soul?” Or “Why would anyone on a soul journey care about the Earth, and vice versa?” I realized this was the separation I was trying to overcome, and that I would have to work harder at conveying that sense of oneness through my words. Eventually, the “soulscapes” emerged–the meeting place of inner and outer nature–I felt as if I had found a way of truly bridging the false divide. This is a short video that speaks to how the Earth lives and breathes within us. I hope it moves you and that you will share your feelings about it with me here.
