Dear God
Autumn wraps herself around us
As winter grazes her fingers over the earth
As seasons’ change so must we
But we ask you to steady us in ways of the Spirit
keep us in tune with nature all around us
The great Spirit of your creation
And keep us grounded in the wisdom of love
Which speaks through our hearts and minds and spirits.
As leaves fall: making way for branches to catch the snow
Renew us and help us prepare ourselves
To embrace more and more of your love each day….
We love you O God and we love one another, too.
