Sunday, November 16, 2014 — Imagine

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” [Matthew 5:9] ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

imagine….
bush, vine or green grass
inter-twined
complicated
inseparable
creolised perhaps?
in this mixing-up
purity has lost
its crafty neutrality
blooming
bloody red
springing up
interrupting
undoing
expectant….
may faith thrive
wildly
releasing
converting
versions
of divinity
from human clutch clinics….
God-always-faithful-and-steadfast, give us eyes to perceive, minds to engage, ears to listen deeply, feet to tread adventurously, hands to share and embrace, and hearts to ache with compassion. Continue to draw us into life beyond our knowing to experience the breadth of your grace. May your Spirit, stir in us a sense of outrage so that we may become humble, courageous and adventurous bearers of peace, reconciliation and hope. In the name of the peaceful one! Amen
