Rev. Laura Cavanagh was in Nanaimo on March 17 as part of the church’s 150th year-long anniversary celebrations. Celebrate with Us! is the slogan and many more activities are planned. In addition to being minister of Knox in Victoria, Cavanagh is a member of the board of Presbyterian World Service & Development. Her talk was on “Securing a Future”, the works of PWS&D. She shared with us her experiences while travelling in Afghanistan a few years ago.
