Friday: Life Dares

… and yet …
from frozen ground
and winter’s grip,
through stony wall
and wooden fence:
Life dares pierce through impossible.

Can we, too, break through,
seeking Light and daring Hope?
Can we push through,
knowing death has lost its sting?

Romans 8:25 – “But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.” (ESV)

Poignant words to start the day. Grant us patience. Whisper Hope so that we remember, in You, all things are possible, even if our personal landscape seems stuck in winter’s grip. Create in us renewed awe, renewed trust, renewed life, allowing us to release, to open, and simply be. Wake us out of our apathy and automatic responses. Astonish us with your presence again. With thankful hearts we pray.
Amen
