The moderator of the 141st General Assembly, Rev. Karen Horst, is in Hungary for two weeks to visit mission partners. She is travelling with her husband Rev. Rick Horst, himself moderator of the 137th GA, Rev. Glynis Williams, associate secretary of International Ministries, and Andrew Faiz, senior editor of the Presbyterian Record. They are hosted and led by David Pandy, who has worked on behalf of the PCC in a variety of different capacities, including with Romani communities.
In the first few days the group has visited a refugee camp in Serbia and a Romani worship where the moderator baptized a baby, along with meeting a variety of different partners.
The group travels to Ukraine today and Romania in a few days before returning to Budapest.
