As part of the Remembrance service at Calvin, North Bay, the congregation was encouraged to bring in photos and memorabilia from family, friends and loved ones who served or are currently serving in any of the branches of the armed forces.
This first picture is from Betty Dubes and shows her grandfather, Ambrose Grieve, who served in France during WWI and who was also a founding member of Calvin Church. There is also a smaller picture of Betty’s father, John McGowan.
In the second picture Kelly Potts (right) and her mother, Mrs. Glenda Brown stand beside pictures and memorabilia honouring Kelly’s grandfather, Glenda’s father.
In the third picture, Harry Stephenson stands with memorabilia honouring various members of his family.
