On behalf of Faith Presbyterian Church, Fort McMurray, Alta., I would like to pass on our appreciation and thank-yous for the articles you wrote about Faith Church and Fort McMurray in the September and October issues of the Presbyterian Record.
We all enjoyed reading them and also enjoyed your visit as well.
Faith Church is back worshipping in the school (as of early September) but using the library as the theatre is not quite ready for us.
Faith has offered the call to a minister from South Africa and it was approved by Edmonton-Lakeland Presbytery so now it’s the waiting game with Immigration.
All is still going well at Faith Church and in FMM, there is a great amount of rebuilding going on to have homes closed before winter sets in.
