Responding in Japan

Japan

Presbyterians gave more than $134,000 as of April 13 to Presbyterian World Service and Development for the rehabilitation effort in Japan. The funds will support PWS&D’s partner, Church World Service, which is coordinating the response with a coalition of Japanese agencies.

The hope is to reach 25,000 people in evacuation centres in the country’s northeast, providing mobile health services, essential supplies, and counselling.
