Cora Wilson enjoyed a free ride behind Canadian horse Nova in September when Sand Hill commemorated its historically designated horse sheds, which were built in 1890. Nova’s period – dressed admirer is Chloe Ann Baker, and the driver is Rob Berkvens. The event included free rides given by nine teams of horses and wagons, a blessing of the horses, and a meal of chili, buttered rolls and—of course—cake.
