Soon this committee will be hitting the airwaves. “Radio is an excellent outreach tool,” said Bill Akkerman, chairman of First, Stellarton’s Radio Station Committee. Currently the bulk of the committee’s work is going towards an application for a non-commercial radio license and fundraising within their community.
