Last year, Sunday school students encouraged the congregation to contribute to a Christmas gift campaign run by the Salvation Army. Members chose tags from trees located in the back of the sanctuary, which gave them an idea of what kind of present a local youngster would appreciate. On the first Sunday in Advent the gifts were presented to an Army officer. Here, Madison Holmes picks one of the tags off a tree.
