Prayer: Dear Father of us all, You have given us a day to rest in Your presence. Through Worship, You have given us a time to know and abide in Your deep love. Help us to share that love even with those who challenge our assumptions and our motives. We uphold to You O Lord, those who are new parents. Provide for new parents, O Lord, the energies they need to look after their new wee ones. And in all things Creator, may we be for others the presence of Christ in whose name we pray. Amen.
Today as you are reminded of God’s love through worship, take this love of God out into your community — go visit someone in the hospital or nursing home who needs to see the love of God this day.
