The Durham Community Choir presented their annual Christmas Cantata to two full houses on Dec. 14 and 15. The choir is made up of members from the local Presbyterian, United, Baptist, Anglican, Lutheran, and Roman Catholic churches in Durham and surrounding area, and is under the direction of Krista Bell and accompanied by Paul Eccles. The choir was founded in 2008 as a way for all the churches to proclaim with one voice what they all hold in common: the Good News of Jesus Christ. The evenings are free, but an offering is collected each night in support of the local Food Bank and other charities.
