On Sunday, October 5, Strathcona Park celebrated the well-deserved retirement of Rev. job van Hartingsveldt. The congregation gathered following the service in the church’s fellowship hall for a joyous luncheon attended by 100 well-wishers. Pastor Job’s 14 years of faithful service as minister was acknowledged with a tree dedicated to the glory of God and a travel gift that will place him under a different kind of tree in the Holy Land or the Caribbean.
