Dear God
In this time of saints
When we become children again in the night
Testing our imaginations
Help us bring the joy of the coming night
Into everyday life
The joy of wander and surprise
The joy of dressing up
The joy of facing darkness with light
We are blessed to love you with our whole heart
Our whole mind and our whole spirit
Today…we do so with a sense of joy
And youth in spirit
Thanks to you for this day
God bless all our little ones
Give them a safe and fun and wonder-full day/night
….and us, too.
