Wednesday, November 12, 2014 — Like a Spider’s Web

“I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.” [Psalm 119:96] +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

the walk of faith
is like a spider’s web….
floating
suspending
ambiguous
complex
inverted
tentative
transparent
vulnerable
full of holes
inviting…..
…………….
enter boldly, grace abounds

God-of-righteous-dreaming,
give us an enlarged imagination to dream the new,
to imagine a world that is different,
where creation is mended and restored,
and where exiles and strangers
can find a home and live in peace.
Give us overflowing and extravagant hearts
so that our whole lives
may be full of, and mirror
your dream and promise
of goodness and abundance. Amen
