Ladies from Knox, Normanby, Knox, Holstein and Amos, Dromore, Ont., novice and experienced knitters and crocheters, met in January 2015 and celebrated the completion of 250 prayer shawls and lap robes since their inception in October 2008. To date, 230 shawls or robes have been given to others, each one blessed with prayers offered between the stitches and a final hands-on blessing to celebrate, to encourage, to bless and to comfort the recipient. All who participate enjoy this time together and being a part of this caring ministry.
