Monday: A Fountain in the Desert

Love, you are my Beloved and I long for You. The deepest parts of me desire you. All that is within me thirsts for you like I would thirst for a stream, in a dried and barren land without water. Psalm 63:1

Meditation: Our hearts search for the Divine in the same way that we search for a fountain in the desert. The reality is that the Divine is in us and we are part of the Divine. Only when we pay attention to this wonderful reality , will we want to stop looking and stop thirsting for other things.

Prayer:
Divine One, Marvellous Divinity, you who dwell inside us, open the eyes of our hearts so that we can see that you are always with us, so we can recognize that we are always and already part of you, and there is no need to thirst for anything else.
