I’ve recently been immersed in a project gathering photos and memorabilia from my father’s (and back to my great-grandfather’s) lifetime of years in the Erie LOL 128 Fife and Drum band. I enjoyed my conversations with a few former band members sill alive, however realized that there doesn’t seem to be a lot of historical information out there on the Orange Lodge bands. As this was a big part of many Presbyterian households in years past (countless July 12th parades etc), consider this a shout out for a sharing of stories etc of Fife and Drum memories.
