Embrace Our Standards

Re Choosing Change, June

The article clearly portrays the situation of our denomination now in relation to our past history in the short term. However, the vision of the necessary changes for us in the future in order to meet the challenges of the 21st century nearly all imply a departure, on our part, of our received subordinate standards—Living Faith, the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Bible’s message. Rather than following the envisaged path, we would do well to embrace the stance of our confessions more clearly and with greater enthusiasm.
