Members of five congregations in London, Ont. – Day Spring Presbyterian, Siloam, Gethsemane, Robinson Memorial and Rowntree United – went for a walk on Good Friday morning sharing a cross amongst them. This symbolic re-creation of Christ’s passion and suffering was a public act of ecumenical worship designed to raise the profile of the churches of North London. On a day when church attendance is usually much smaller than on Easter Sunday, the five churches filled Siloam in a cooperative service.
