There are the ashes of a $1.1M mortgage in that urn. Rev. Dr. Ralph Kendall, representing the Presbyterian Church Building Corporation participated in a special thanksgiving service, along with project director Dave MacKenna, at St. Paul’s, Glace Bay, N.S., in May. The ashes, of course, represent years of hard work and prayers and, also importantly, financial support from the congregation.
