They read about it and then they got sewing. Shirley Scott writes: “In response to your December 2005 article Teddies For Tragedies several ladies of St. Andrew’s, Fenelon Falls, Ont., under the direction of Rev. Rod Lewis and his wonderful wife Olive, accomplished a knitting blitz of over 100 teddies. We only wish to bring some joy to those little children in need of help. The donors were Jenny Elder, Jean Miller, Hilda Potts, Edith Schofield, Doreen Sharman, Betty Hurd, Shirley Scott, Ruth Robb and Dorothy Henderson.”
