PnP received the following from Diana Barrie. We should all have fans so close to home:
“They attend church every Sunday, have sung in the choir, been active in every possible activity, supported members of the church, actively involved themselves in the heart and soul of this church.
“Other elders in the church, other choir members, other ladies in the Heather Club, as well as the minister, organist and many families in the church can attest to the wonderful people that they are.
“I am speaking of Bill and Betty Barrie, members of Almonte, Ont., celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. It is with love and admiration that I acknowledge this momentous occasion.”
