Stu Bear Visits First
Stu Bear, his brothers and sisters (compliments of our Knitting Ministry) have been to First, Brandon, Man., to remind us all to be good stewards. They encouraged us to think about how we use our money, how we look after ourselves, other people and God’s creation and that we need to be good stewards, not only for the time the bears visited with us but for always. They are hopeful that we will remember to be good stewards at home, at work, at school, and at play. When the bears came back to church “to hibernate,” they brought with them many stewardship stories and money saved for rainwater tanks for the people of Tanzania.
