On Sunday, April 26, 2009 St. Andrew’s Guelph celebrated its 181st anniversary. Special guests were the Rev. Cheol Soon Park, Moderator of the 134th General Assembly, his wife Karen, and Clarabeth MacIntosh, a member of St. Andrew’s who spent many years in Christian ministry in Japan, along with her late husband Rev. Dr. Jack MacIntosh. Clarabeth is presently living in Vancouver. Our guests were welcomed by St. Andrew’s minister, Rev. John Borthwick. The theme of last year’s anniversary year was “A Place To Call Home. This summer St. Andrew’s will see the completion of a Habitat For Humanity Home, a partnership project with other faith groups in Guelph.
