The congregation of Nine Mile Creek P.C., Rice Point Road, Prince Edward Island, held a Festival of Faith, in the spring. Rev. Dr. Gordon Matheson (Interim Moderator) is their minister. Special Music was provided by Judy MacGregor, Joan Reeves (twin sisters), and Wayne Diamond; Doug Young; and Men’s Choir of Zion P.C., Charlottetown. Two guest speakers from Nova Scotia were Rev. Mary Anne Grant, Tatamagouche, and Audrey Cameron, Camp Geddie, Merigomish.
A pot-luck lunch was served after Sunday morning worship. There was a “Blessing of the Fleet” by Rev. Dr. Matheson at the Nine Mile Creek Wharf at 2 P.M., followed by a Music Service in the evening. Following services, people had an opportunity to have others pray with them.
