The Linda Silver Trio, a jazz and blues band, was born at St. John’s, Kingston, Ont. when its three members met at a church-hosted talent night. They joined forces with a local musician, Jon McLurg, to professionally record this song with funds provided by the church’s WMS group. It was played at the Kingston Family Military Resource Centre at CFB Kingston, and CDs were added to parcels prepared by the Kingston Gospel Temple for soldiers serving in Afghanistan in 2007.
