The worship and service life of Saint James, Port Elgin went hand-in-hand.
Worship was the opportunity to welcome those in search of answers to life’s questions that can only be answered through faith, and together share our love for God. It is remembered as a time of peace and root in understanding so much of what made people’s lives meaningful.
Old friends would gather to hear God’s Word offered through the refreshing insight of visiting preachers, our own elders, and special guests from many walks of life; at times these were even prisoners from the nearby correction facilities.
