The session of Saint James, Port Elgin, with our Interim Moderator, the Rev. Sandy Sutherland [of the Bass River Pastoral Charge] lead our ministry through their ongoing education, prayerful attention to concerns and needs in our community and congregation, as we together seek to serve Christ in this small-town context.
We share worship, fellowship and are engaged in work with the Westmorland prison through its chaplaincy.
We minister to ourselves through visits, prayers, and special fellowship times each month.
And we are always looking for a new ministry to begin; that we might use the gifts we have been given, to greater service.
