Building the frames for the Community Garden plots: The building of the frames for the community garden plots took place on Saturday, 7 April, 2018 with twenty volunteers building twenty frames and filling them with triple mix soil. The volunteers were served with warm soup, sandwiches, coffee, tea and bottled water by two ladies in the kitchen. Here are some pictures from the build.

Scottlea Presbyterian Church started a Community Garden in the spring of 2018. The garden consists of 20-inch-high raised beds, measuring 10 feet by 5 feet, renting at $40.00 each for the seaon.
