What to expect in Worship

Each Sunday we gather together to worship God together at 10:00 am.  As you enter our building you will be greeting by a member of our congregation and encouraged to grab a coffee and snack from our Snack and yak area at the back of the sanctuary.  The half hour before service is a time we use to greet one another, make connections and enjoy some tasty treats provided to us by a member of the congregation.

Around 10 we settle in and begin worship.  The service opens with announcements and a song led by our talented Praise band.  We continue worshipping together through prayer, scripture readings, a message of the day and more songs.  Our children gather together at the beginning of worship for a message from the Minister and then head down to “Kid’s Corner” where they take part in a fun Church School program.  It’s a great way for children to learn about faith, scripture and the Good news in a fun and exciting environment.

Throughout the year we have various special services.  From Christmas Eve to Maundy Thursday Communion, Good Friday and Easter Sunday we endeavour to offer meaningful worship experiences that bring the true meaning of the holiday season into the lives of our members and their families.

If you’re feeling uncomfortable or unsure about what to do in worship don’t hesitate to contact us in advance.  Call the office to set up an appointment with the minister or pop in during office hours on Tuesday or Thursday morning to chat and learn more about who we are and where you can find a place in our congregation.  You are welcome here.
