Events and Activities

Communion
We celebrate Communion six times per year during our Sunday morning worship. There is wine or juice, and bread or gluten-free crackers. Everyone is welcome!

Small Groups
Bible Study
Led by the minister,  our Bible study groups meet online or in person throughout the year. We dig deeper into Scripture, seeking to learn more about what we believe and to grow in our faith. For upcoming Bible studies, visit our Facebook page.

Pathways to Faith
This women’s group meets once a month through most of the year. Together, we discuss faith and life, supporting one another through life’s ups and downs, and growing as followers of Jesus. We also take on projects around St. Andrew’s as a team, such as preparing take-home meals, hosting the Mother’s Day lunch and redecorating our historic building.

Children’s Ministry
Our Sunday School uses the Dwell multi-age curriculum for children aged 3 to 12 years. Dwell emphasizes creative engagement with Bible stories through story-telling and crafts. Our Sunday School also learn music and public-speaking skills, by singing, reading and performing at least twice a year during our worship services.

Community Meals
Everyone is invited to our community meals! We are blessed to have many fantastic cooks at St. Andrew’s, and we let them loose in the kitchen as often as possible. Many of our meals fundraise for local and national organizations, as well as the ministries of the church.

On the first and third Wednesday of most months, we partner with local caterer Sarnia Blessings to offer a hot, nutritious lunch at a reasonable cost. Menus typically include a hot entrée, salad or fresh bread and a dessert, with tea, coffee and good conversation for only $11. Check our Facebook page for the current menu – everyone is welcome!
