Ministry is what everybody in the congregation does to move forward God’s mission.
In our Reformed faith, the ministry of Word and Sacrament is what enables other people’s ministries. Hence there is an important place for preaching and teaching in the life of the congregation.
Rev Dr Nigel Parker has been the Minister of Word and Sacrament in the congregation since July 2021. He came across from the Church of Scotland where he had served a congregation in Aberdeen for more than 26 years. He trained at Aberdeen University but also obtained a Doctorate in Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary NJ USA.
