Ministry

St. Andrew’s offers a wide range of long and short term programs and events. Sunday School takes place in the upstairs hall during the Service of Worship. Once a month, a coffee hour is hosted by the month’s greeters following the service.
Each Sunday from September to June, the Sunday School of St. Andrew’s meets in the upstairs Children’s Hall. Children leave for classes following the Children’s Time in the Service of Worship. Our dedicated and enthusiastic teachers, share stories, games and crafts and organize special seasonal activities.
A Pancake Supper is held in February (Shrove Tuesday). The Tarts Galore Festival is held the Saturday before Mother’s Day and is a fundraiser for churches in the surrounding area. A Fall Ham Supper is held at the Alma Community Centre (ACC). To celebrate the beginning of Advent season, St. Andrew’s hosts an Evening of Music in conjunction with Knox Elora.
We join with Hope Springs United Church for Good Friday and Christmas Eve Services on a rotational basis. We host Sunrise Service and breakfast on Easter Sunday morning at the Alma Community Centre.
St Andrew’s is an avid supporter of a number of local community programs including the Centre Wellington Food Bank. We also support Presbyterian’s Sharing and Presbyterian World Service and Development.
