A warm welcome to all who come to worship this Sunday. Please join us after worship for refreshments and conversation.
Next Sunday the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated. We also welcome back the Rev. Kathy Brownlee who will be leading worship.

Thank you to all who participated in the town-hall meeting last Sunday. 34 people attended as we enjoyed a lively discussion and lunch together. A special thank you to those who provided refreshments and who cleaned up.
St. Andrew’s, Aurora, is doing the outreach supper for St. Andrew’s, Sutton on Tuesday January 30th. We do these meals 4 times a year when there is a fifth Tuesday in the month. Speak to Anne Neuman if interested in helping on that day
The church building is an incredible asset that allows the church not only to worship on Sundays but to live out its purpose seven-days a week. The people who use our facilities include AA groups (3 in total), CHATS (teaching English as a second language to new immigrants), feeding programs like Martha’s Table and aurora community café, Scottish dancers, Cubs and Guides. The church has been able to develop growing relationships with some of the people who use our space. This space is a gift passed down from previous generations, but it, like any facility or home, requires care and continuous upkeep. Thank you to the following people who have offered to participate in serving on the new and improved maintenance team: Gord Osborne, Kevin Johnston, Nigel Samuel, James Thompson, Ed Webster, and Tony Parkinson. A meeting will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
Thank you to all who continue to serve God and neighbour by volunteering at Martha’s Table on Thursdays. Martha’s is in its 13th year and offers soups, sandwiches, refreshments and Christian hospitality to people who are in need of a meal or companionship.
The aurora community café open every Wednesday now offers lunch in addition to freshly baked goods and coffee/tea. The café is a partnership involving local churches and non-profit groups providing job-training to adults with disabilities and creating a space to bring people together in a supportive environment.
