We welcome the Rev. Clive W. Simpson who will be leading worship this morning.

Clive grew up in the hamlet of Langstaff (Yonge St and Highway 7}. He graduated from Thornhill Secondary School, Waterloo Lutheran University and Knox College. Postgraduate education was pursued at Princeton, Vancouver School of Theology and The Pastoral Institute in Calgary. He served four congregations, two in Alberta, two in Ontario. He retired to the family home in the south part of Richmond Hill in 2004. His wife Donna, an R.N. retired three years later.  They have two daughters, Deborah is a Professor at U. of Regina, and Allison is a curator at the Science Centre in Calgary. Retirement has involved: Interim Ministry, supply Ministry, curling, Golf and reading in the area of Healing and Reconciliation with First Nations.

On Good Friday, March 30, 2018 at 7:00 PM, Our Lady Of Grace Parish will be holding a Tenebrae Service. The music for this service was written by Msgr. J. E. Ronan, founder of St Michael’s Choir School in Toronto and will be sung by a four-part men’s choir made up of the alumni from the choir school. This is a most appropriate way to celebrate the sufferings and death of our Saviour. Please plan to attend.
