We welcome the Rev Clive Simpson who will be leading worship this morning.
Clive grew up in the hamlet of Langstaff (Yonge St and Highway 7). He graduated from Thornhill Secondary School, Waterloo Lutheran University and Knox College. Postgraduate education was pursued at Princeton, Vancouver School of Theology and The Pastoral Institute in Calgary. He served four congregations, two in Alberta, two in Ontario. He retired to the family home in the south part of Richmond Hill in 2004. His wife Donna, an R.N. retired three years later. They have two daughters, Deborah is a Professor at U. of Regina, and Allison is a curator at the Science Centre in Calgary. Retirement has involved: Interim Ministry, supply Ministry, curling, golf and reading in the area of Healing and Reconciliation with First Nations.
