Welcome to St. David’s Presbyterian Church, Toney River. You are welcome to worship with us and we look forward to seeing you as we worship God together.
The main goal of our church is to create a deep sense of “family” which is a value that is very strong in our community as a whole. We strive to do this during the good times and the bad times. Our family values are especially true within our congregation as we consider each other as brothers and sisters in Christ and aspire to be loving, caring, sharing. These are the essential aspects of our BEING the FAMILY of God. In fact, some of our members trace their current participation within the congregation to the warm welcome or compassionate help they first received during a difficult time of crisis.
We also realize that God’s family is one of adoption, the working of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ, and hold to the conviction that God’s desire is for the church – as God’s family – to grow.
We believe in proclaiming the Good News of Christ crucified and resurrected, and our hope is that anyone who walks into our church will feel the love and compassion of Christ in and through us.
Sunday School is available for your children during the worship service, so please bring them along. You might be seeking a few quiet moments of reflection and prayer or an active role in fellowship and outreach, you will be warmly received. You are welcome! God bless you as you come!
