Located at 2417 Route 640, the Hanwell Presbyterian Cemetery is part of St. James’ ministry.
The cemetery committee is committed to providing interment spaces and services to meet current and future needs of St. James and the greater Hanwell community. In 2022, for example, we will erect a columbarium to provide more options at affordable pricing. Please contact St. James at 450-4031 if you are interested in purchasing a plot or investing in columbarium space and we will connect you with a member of the cemetery committee.
The cemetery committee is responsible for the care and upkeep of the cemetery grounds. To help preserve the cemetery, and for the efficiency and safety of those maintaining the grounds, we have developed the following policy surrounding cemetery care:

- No planting of flowers, trees, bushes, shrubs, etc.
- No fencing and hedging
- No candles, solar lights, shepherd’s hooks, or decorative rocks
- No glass or anything breakable
- The cemetery committee reserves the right to remove all plants, trees, flowers, etc. that become unsightly or problematic for maintenance of grounds.
