About our Building:
At St. James, we offer an adult and child-friendly environment. We have a one-level building with a sanctuary (worship area), classrooms (which also serve as meeting rooms), nursery, and hall (with kitchen). We have ample parking and we are accessible to those using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
We are located right on the main road in Hanwell (1991 Route 640) and have plenty of parking. Our facilities are well lit and fully accessible. We can accommodate a variety of group sizes and needs. Our Church Hall provides a bright open space, our Sanctuary provides a more formal seating with an organ and piano, and microphones. We also have a smaller meeting room, bathroom facilities, nursery/quiet room, and an entrance lobby with plenty of room for coats and boots. Our kitchen is routinely used to serve meals for up to 60 people per sitting. It is equipped with a large propane stove and oven, industrial dishwasher, two large stainless-steel sinks, double fridge, freezers, serving trays, dishes and cutlery.
We have a lovely community memorial garden space with gazebo that provides a peaceful and beautiful outdoor space for your enjoyment and contemplation.
Rental Information:
Throughout the year, many have book the hall, kitchen, or meeting rooms for recreational purposes, birthdays, showers, anniversary parties, family reunions, community meetings, and so on.
