A Reflection on Attending the Funeral Mass for Pope Francis:
The Rev. Amanda Currie, a PCC minister in Saskatchewan and past moderator of General Assembly, is presently serving as President of The Canadian Council of Churches. She was invited, in her role as President, to be part of the Canadian Delegation of some 35 people, led by Governor General Mary Simon to attend the funeral mass for His Holiness Pope Francis. What an honour to attend, additionally so as a member of the Presbyterian Church in Canada and female ordained minister of Word and Sacrament. Amanda shared a reflection on this experience.
