Your financial gifts support St. Paul’s ministry and mission—and in giving, you receive too. Every contribution helps us grow in faith, service, and community.
🌱 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NRSV)
“The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.”

Whether it is a one-time gift or given over time, cash is a simple and effective way of supporting your congregation’s mission and ministry.
If you would like to offer a monetary gift in support of the ministry carried out by St. Paul’s, there are a number of ways to do so:
By cheque or cash: Cash or cheques can be set in the offering plate during in-person worship, or they can be mailed or dropped off at the church office (simply contact us to arrange a drop-off time). Cheques can be made payable to “St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church”. (Note: we will need your contact info so that your tax receipt can be mailed at the appropriate time.)
Envelopes: During our weekly Sunday services, you can also use envelopes for cash and cheque givings. We have special visitor envelopes, but if you attend regularly, you can request a set of numbered envelopes for giving. This method allows us to accurately provide you with a record of your givings for tax purposes.
PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance): PAR is a great way to give consistently. It is a direct debit program that allows individuals to support the church’s ministries through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account. It’s easy to set up and you don’t have to worry about it again unless you wish to make changes. Income tax receipts will be issued in the same manner as regular cheque/cash givings. Note, you may still use offering envelopes (or a plain envelope) indicating your name and/or envelope number to make an extra offering for special occasions or appeals. The attached brochure contains an authorization form. Completed forms can be e-mailed to, or dropped off at, St. Paul’s.
e-Transfers: If you would like to give electronically, please use this email address we set up specifically for e-transfers – [email protected] .
Canada Helps: Canada Helps is another way to give digitally. A receipt for your donations will be sent through email and can be done on your schedule. Although CanadaHelps deducts a 4% fee for a one-time donation and 3.5% for monthly donations before forwarding the balance to St. Paul’s, you will receive a tax receipt for 100% of your donation. Canada Helps – Donate to St. Paul’s.
Designated Gifts: Donations can be directed to specific funds for different uses by the Church. For a description of these funds please contact the Treasurer or a Session or Board Member.
Are you interested in legacy gifts?
Planned Gifts: Planned gifts are an effective way to leave a legacy at Your Church and often have significant tax benefits associated with them, which can lower the cost of the gift. Publicly traded securities, life insurance, life beneficiary gifts (RRSPs and RRIFs) and estate planning are just some of the available options. Talk to a church elder for information on how you might plan to provide for a bright future at St. Paul’s, but please also contact your financial adviser or search the Canada Revenue Agency website for more information.
Thank You
Your support helps us share Christ’s love and build a vibrant, caring church community.
We’re grateful for every gift—large or small, one-time or ongoing.
