Funeral & Memorial Services

The congregations of the Tabusintac Pastoral Charge are deeply committed to receiving and offering the hospitality of our sanctuaries and facilities for families during their times of sorrow. We see this as a keen part of our ministry, and is a recognized part of our identity.

During times of grief and loss we often turn to our roots of faith for answers, for support and for comfort. Our elders and other members of our congregation are taking training in grief support, and we are working to grow our awareness in counseling resources offered privately and through the province.

While we make it a point to ensure that the needs and concerns of members are met, we are glad to open our doors to those needing comfort and support, and offer a place to conduct Christian memorial services.

The use of facilities are supervised by each congregation’s board of managers and session. Grounds and cemeteries are under the care of cemetery boards and committees that operate in cooperation with other churches and the community.
